Seton Speed Bump with Strengthening Rail – 5MPH
- Patent No. 2 568 322, Patent No. 2 576 653, Patent No. DM/101250, Patent No. DM/101249
- Enhanced Speed Bump Durability – Why Rail Fixing is the Strongest Way To Go
- Innovative rail system removes lateral drag from passing vehicles, virtually eliminating the likelihood of bumps being ripped from the road surface
- Stress levels placed upon ground fixing bolts are reduced delivering a much firmer grip than standard, non-railed alternatives
- Steel rail absorbs pressure so less tension is placed on the PVC parts of the bump
- Enhanced grip places speed bump flex in the centre of each module meaning pieces are less likely to lift
- Guards against speed bump modules distorting over time
- Rail fixing is recommended for areas subject to regular use by heavy goods vehicles

- Improved Speed Bump Design – Updating a Car Park Classic
- Interlocking chevron shape offers extra support for individual modules and helps distribute weight load evenly
- Patterned top surface provides additional grip for vehicles, particularly in poor weather conditions
- Inbuilt channel allows cables and hoses to be fed through the bump, protecting against damage from vehicles and minimising trip hazards
- Bolt hole supports grip fixings firmly to reduce the chance of damage
- Underside ribbing provides additional structural strength to each module
- Standard kits without rails are also available in a choice of lengths and materials

- High-Visibility – Speed Bump Safety
- Speed bumps must be easy to see to prevent damage to both the bump and passing vehicles – black and yellow colouring highlights bumps in all weather conditions
- Each module features 4 reflectors (2 on each side) so bumps can be seen at night or in poor lighting
- All locations where bumps are present should prominently display signage warning drivers, pedestrians and cyclists of their use
- PVC – The Perfect Speed Bump Material
- PVC is hard-wearing, heavy duty and ideal for the rigors of day to day use in a car park or warehouse
- Easier to install than tarmac and less prone to damage than rubber
- Full colour PVC is our premium material – we recommend this in locations that are very busy, used at night time or where heavy goods vehicles are driven
- A lifetime colour contrast guarantee is offered on full colour PVC bumps
- Painted, recycled PVC bumps are ideal for lower traffic areas
- Both PVC materials are suitable for use in temperatures from -20 to +60°C
- Full Colour PVC - is recommended for more 'Heavy Duty' areas
- Easy Installation - Simplified Speed Bump Set Up
- Modular speed bumps are perfect for easy installation with no need to deal with large, bulky pieces
- Kits including fixings suitable for concrete or tarmac surfaces are available
- Fixings are galvanised to prolong life and reduce the risk of rusting
- When selecting a length for your bump, remember to allow for a channel either side for bicycles and water to drain away
- Consider also whether you would like to leave space for emergency vehicles to pass over the bumps unhindered
- We recommend using appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) during installation, including hi-vis clothing, gloves and boots, safety goggles and ear protectors
- Rail fixings can be drilled through any available hole allowing a small window of error during installation
- Chevron interlock pattern helps keep modules in line as they are being fixed to the road surface
- Rail channels slot smoothly into place ready for speed bump modules to be attached
- Additional fixings can be purchased separately - please contact us for more information
- Individual modules and extra rails are also available to allow bumps to be extended if required
- Suitable for use in and outdoors in private locations only

- Speed Awareness on Your Site – Slowing Traffic to Safe levels
- 75mm high speed bumps will reduce traffic speeds down to 5mph across your site
- 5mph is the recommended speed in areas where pedestrians are highly likely to be present such as schools, hospitals and medical centres
- Bumps of this type are also ideal for loading bays, narrow roads, driveways, multi-storey car parks and warehouses
- Reinforce your speed requirements with a clearly visible 5 mph speed limit sign
